More about me...
I trained in Contemporary Textile Practise at the University of Wales, Cardiff, graduating in 2005. I continue to live and work in Cardiff selling and exhibiting a wide variety of art and design works in galleries and art fairs all over Wales, England and Scotland.
A recurring area of interest in my work is the art of collage which I believe can be applied to many areas of art and design and is a central way in which I work, particularly within my portraits and jewellery work where I unite disparate abstract, conceptual and pictorial elements to form new ideas. I am intrigued by misplaced and misused pieces of information and imagery and appreciate other peoples rubbish, delighting in transforming this into my own unique eye-catching creations.

EllyMental Status
July 30th: I am very busy with jewellery orders - If you are wanting anything for xmas, let me know ASAP! That goes for individuals and stockists! I wil be designing some xmas decorations shortly - watch this space xx
June 1st: I have just finshed several jewellery orders for galleries in Greenwich, The Isle of Wight and Dumfries & Galloway ....and now to start a whole load more! In case you are interested in stocking my jewellery please get in touch - I endeavour to complete all new orders within 2 weeks.
28th April: I am making lots of new items at the moment - please contact me if you have any ideas for jewellery you wish to share with me!
